Registered Nurse Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Coverage of patient placement and staff assignments.
• Supporting nursing staff with patient care, workflow, and unit activities.
• Aiding in staff orientation, education, and ongoing training.
• Managing clinical operations and responding to changes in patient conditions.
• Involvement in quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
• Scheduling, staffing, productivity, and resource management.
• Collaboration with leadership on budgeting, staffing, and operational needs.
• Maintenance of equipment, supplies, and a safe patient care environment.
• Performing direct patient care as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the applicable state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
