Registered Nurse - Surgical Trauma Critical Care - Days
Part and full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus. Shift: Day Shift - Full Time. This position is referral eligible and qualifies for a new hourly location differential in addition to standard shift and holiday differentials.
About the role
Indiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our Surgical Trauma Critical Care (STCC) unit—a 20-bed ICU that cares for patients with multiple types of surgeries, injuries, and conditions. Nurses on this unit treat patients with various trauma conditions or surgical interventions, requiring a broad knowledge base of critical care, trauma, and multi-system challenges. The unit collaborates with a strong interdisciplinary team of physicians, clinical pharmacists, and dietitians.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Associate of Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions considered for candidates with more than two years of acute care experience, subject to CNO approval)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
