Registered Nurse - Critical Care, Days

About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies, maintain practice standards, and coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care utilizing professional standards
• Coordinate and supervise care activities of staff
• Maintain compliance with policies and standards
• Obtain and maintain relevant certifications for specialty areas
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• No experience required; new graduates eligible
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state or multistate license required
• Current BCLS certification
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, CHEMO, NICU, etc.)
• For certain specialties, specific certifications such as CDN, NRP, or specific unit-based certifications are necessary within set timeframes
