Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (Days)

Responsibilities

• Care for a variety of complex critically ill patients.
• Perform bedside ICU procedures.
• Manage mechanical ventilation in collaboration with respiratory therapy.
• Work collaboratively with intensivists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, consultants, and hospitalist team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• 2 years of experience as an independent provider in the ICU (with procedure logs).
• Active Washington license and DEA preferred.
• A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting.

Schedule

This is a full-time day position at Sacred Heart Med Center. Day shifts are 5am-5am and 6am-6pm (block schedule). We collaborate to manage the schedule as equitably as possible, ensuring team members achieve an outstanding work/family life balance.

Pay

Competitive salary of $182,624.

Location

Sacred Heart Medical Center is a 628-bed level II trauma center, teaching hospital, and tertiary referral center in Spokane, WA. We have a 26-bed med/surg ICU and a 28 bed CVICU with MCS, ECMO, and LVAD.
