About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment using evidence-based practices and technology. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to develop individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination. The RN delegates and supervises care delivery, manages resources, and prioritizes tasks to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Coordinate care, delegate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, and document care accurately.

Requirements

  • Current RN license with valid or transferable licensure.
  • BLS certification; BSN preferred, especially for less experienced RNs.
  • Strong skills in patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and care coordination.

Physical & Additional Requirements

  • Ability to see, hear, communicate effectively, and manipulate equipment accurately.
  • Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, and navigate busy environments.
  • For roles involving driving, ability to operate a vehicle safely.
