Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Trauma provides high-quality, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safety and individualized treatment. Key Responsibilities Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.Delivering culturally competent, relationship-based care tailored to patient populations.Partnering with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.Coordinating and documenting safe, quality care while promoting teamwork, respectful environment, and inclusion.Supporting performance improvement, research activities, and evidence-based practice initiatives.Participating in professional development, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Contributing to resource management and protocol development for optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications And Skills Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).Current BLS certification.Less than one year of clinical nursing experience required; preferred experience in direct patient care.Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
