Role Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Trauma provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. They perform assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes using evidence-based practices, ensuring individualized care that respects cultural diversity. The RN partners with patients and families, fostering effective communication and shared decision-making. They coordinate and document care, promote teamwork, and support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practices. The role involves professional development, mentoring, and adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies. Additional responsibilities include resource management, protocol development, and participation in quality initiatives to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred; licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the appropriate state or multi-state compact.Current BLS certification required.Less than one year of clinical experience post-nursing education preferred.Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and adherence to professional standards.
