About the role
A Registered Nurse is needed for a Surgical Intermediate Care unit, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to post-surgical patients requiring close monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and telemetry monitoring.
- Administer IV medications and perform wound care.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families to support safe transitions of care.
- Precept and mentor newer staff members as needed.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure with relevant clinical experience.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
