Registered Nurse Surgery - Main OR Part-time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Surgical RN to join our team at Valley View Hospital, a Level III trauma center with advanced surgical facilities.

About the Role

Valley View Hospital offers a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, obstetrics/gynecology, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), plastics, urology, pediatrics, and orthopedic/spine trauma. The hospital provides state-of-the-art equipment such as robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci).

Responsibilities

• Rotating evening, night, and weekend call shifts
• Performing routine surgical skills as a circulating RN
• Scrub experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain
• American Heart Association (AHA) current BLS certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of intraoperative RN experience with routine surgical skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) salary range: $43.22 - $64.83/hour
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) salary range: $41.56 - $62.34/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience

Pay

• Hourly rates vary based on education and experience
• Evening shift differential: $2.25/hour
• Night shift differential: $4.00/hour
• Weekend differential: $4.25/hour

Schedule

• 2-12-hour shifts per week
• Working 48 hours per pay period
• Rotating weeknight and weekend call shifts
