Registered Nurse, Surgery

Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, general, OB/GYN, and minimally invasive robotic surgeries. Opportunity for growth within perioperative care and exposure to advanced surgical technology.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments for patient safety
• Supporting efficient surgical workflows by anticipating team needs
• Providing age- and procedure-appropriate perioperative nursing care
• Maintaining accurate documentation in medical records
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure high-quality outcomes

Requirements

• Current North Carolina or Compact RN license with endorsement
• BLS certification within 30 days; ACLS within 90 days of hire
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• One year of OR RN experience preferred; new candidates considered based on overall experience
