Registered Nurse - Surgery

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Support efficient surgical workflow by anticipating needs of the team.
• Provide age- and procedure-appropriate perioperative nursing care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• One year of OR experience preferred; new graduates considered based on overall experience.
