Registered Nurse Supervisor - Post Surgery PACU

About the role

The RN Supervisor oversees the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective nursing care, ensuring compliance with policies and standards. They collaborate with clinical and ancillary departments to meet quality, safety, and service excellence goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervising nursing activities
• Monitoring patient outcomes
• Managing staff performance, training, and development
• Assisting in analyzing, planning, and implementing departmental processes, programs, and strategic plans to enhance operational, financial, and clinical effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• 2+ years clinical experience
• Prior supervisory or management experience (preferred)
• RN license and BLS required
• For Post Surgical PACU: ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Participation in orientation, competency validation, and ongoing education
