Registered Nurse - STU

About the role

The Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. They deliver safe and effective care and interact with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and standards.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay

$30,000 per year, with a sign-on bonus available to new hires with relevant experience.
