Registered Nurse - Structural Heart

About the role

This position is within a specialized Structural Heart Team, focusing on evaluating, preparing, and supporting patients undergoing advanced cardiovascular procedures such as TAVRs, MitraClips, and Watchmans. The role emphasizes patient care, interventional procedures, and effective communication with medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures, monitoring hemodynamics as needed.
• Communicate patient conditions to physicians before, during, and after procedures.
• Perform, assist with, and facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Set up and manage equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Provide CVA coverage for cases.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with current licensure, or multi-state license recognition (Compact State).
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.

Skills

• Certification in BLS (within 1 month) and Advanced Life Support (within 6 months).
• Experience in Cath Lab required.

Schedule

Full-time role with no call or weekend shifts, scheduled from early morning to late afternoon.
