About the role

The MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute-Old Brooklyn offers bi-weekly hours of 72.00, with a shift pattern that includes Eve/Night rotation from 3p-11:30p, 11p-7:30a, 7p-7:30a, and rotating weekends and holidays. This position is part of the Inpatient Stroke Physical Rehab Unit, 5N.

Responsibilities

• Utilize neurological assessments and adaptive ADLs for patient care.
• Train patients and families in transfer and mobility techniques.
• Provide rehabilitation-specific education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, and Dieticians.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association preferred.

Skills

Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with qualifying experience.
