Registered Nurse - Stepdown - Night Shift

Role Overview Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights, and protects confidentiality. Performs duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a focus on higher acuity cardiac and respiratory conditions.Evaluate patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and monitor outcomes.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with policies.Adhere to safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).Current RN licensure in the state or with a compact license, meeting all state requirements.American Heart Association Healthcare Provider, ACLS, and BLS certifications (ACLS and BLS within 90 days if not already held).Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
