Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Stepdown - Night Shift
About the role
The 4N Medical Stepdown Unit at ChristianaCare's Wilmington Hospital cares for patients with a variety of diagnoses affecting multiple systems, including pneumonia, COPD, heart failure, stroke, changes in mental status, diabetes, wounds, urinary tract infections, pancreatitis, and cellulitis. The unit serves patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric patients and offers a fast-paced environment that provides opportunities for learning and skill development.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions
- Participate in ACLS certification programs
- Apply evidence-based care practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a step-down unit setting
Requirements
- Delaware RN license or compact nursing license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or commitment to obtaining BSN within 3 years of hire date
- One to two years of experience in acute care or sub-acute care preferred

Pay
Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05
Schedule
Night shift: 7p - 7a
Weekend and holiday shifts per department guidelines
