Registered Nurse - Step down
About the Role
This is a short-term contract position with a timeframe from November 1st to December 13th. The role requires working in a step-down unit with the possibility of floating between units. The position does not require on-call duties but does require working every other weekend. Block schedules are not required, and the expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Proficiency with EPIC is a hardstop requirement.
Special Requirements
There are two colleagues on FMLA, which contributes to the short-term nature of this contract. Local candidates interested in extending their contract prior to the holidays are welcome. 48-hour work weeks are approved.

Department Uniform/Dress Code
- Licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN): Solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Scrub tops may have colored piping, but print tops are not acceptable.
- Unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT): Solid hunter green uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in specific areas such as the Children's Hospital and Women's Services.
