Registered Nurse/Step down

Location: 9500 Euclid Ave, Cleveland
Duration: 20 weeks (13 weeks also accepted for winter coverage)
Shift: Day (3×12 hours, 7:00–19:30) or Night (3×12 hours, 19:00–7:30)

About the role

Travel RN assignment on the HVTI-Stepdown unit with potential to float to units J1-2, J3-33, and the ED to care for the same patient population. Auto-offer for 3×12-hour shifts only; day/night rotation may vary if needed to meet hospital operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/Progressive Care setting
• Float to designated units as needed for consistent patient population
• Work at least every other holiday
• Complete ECG rhythm-recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty (preferably within one location, but can be combined)
• Minimum 18 months recent Stepdown experience (travel experience accepted)
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand
• AHA or client-approved BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
