Registered Nurse - Staffing Pool

About the role

This position provides leadership in delivering professional nursing care, focusing on patient comfort and well-being. The hospital is a designated trauma, stroke, and neonatal intensive care center, recognized for nursing excellence, and committed to supporting nurse development and patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient education.
• Implementing medically prescribed interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification
• One year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience (mandatory)
• Neonate Resuscitation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications required within 30 days of employment
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
• Preferred: National specialty certification
