Key Responsibilities
- Provide competent and compassionate nursing care in accordance with professional standards
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Establish, implement, and revise patient goals and outcomes as needed
- Deliver safe and effective care to patients with complex medical needs
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Perform point-of-care testing and accurately document patient information
- Educate patients and families using appropriate educational materials
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care
- Prioritize and organize nursing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Promote cleanliness, safety, infection prevention, and cost-effective patient care
- Apply cultural awareness and utilize multidisciplinary resources to support patient outcomes
- Participate in educational programs and ongoing professional development
- Share ideas for process improvement and evidence-based nursing practices
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Active North Carolina RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
- CPI-A Certification
Preferred Certifications
- ACLS Certification
