About the role
Location: Nashville, TN
Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown
Specialty: Surgical ICU/ICU Stepdown
Schedule: Days | Weekends Part-time
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the health-care team.
Requirements
- Advanced Life Support certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire or job transfer.
- BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or job transfer.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition ("Compact State") obtained prior to hire or job transfer.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
