REGISTERED NURSE SENIOR - URGENT CARE - FULL TIME

Description Summary/Objective

The ideal candidate for a Registered Nurse Position should be currently licensed with the state of Florida and have at least one year of comprehensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Essential Functions

• Evaluates and manages patient needs.
• Plans patient care utilizing physician protocol and professional judgment.
• Notifies physician of patients’ status based on urgency.
• Evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage.
• Administers medications, including injections and IV’s; documents medications given or prescribed by ordering physician as required by specialty.
• Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction.

Requirements

• Current Florida license as a Registered Nurse.
• One or more years of comprehensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Active BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications.
