Staff Nurse - Full Time - Urgent Care Republic

About the role

The LPN at CoxHealth works in an urgent care setting at 3203 E. Old Stone Avenue, Brookline, Missouri, 65619. This position is part of a leading healthcare system serving 25 counties across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Data entry in medical records
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Collecting demographics and medical information
• Preparing patients for examination
• Cleaning rooms and equipment
• Stocking supplies
• Administering medications as ordered by the physician
• Performing specific competencies as directed by the department

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Previous nursing experience preferred

Qualifications

• Nursing License active in the state of Missouri
• LPN license and IV Certification active in the state of Missouri
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days
