The Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse range of patients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Collects comprehensive data to assess patient health and develop personalized care plans.
- Coordinates patient care and transitions between departments, ensuring continuity of care.
- Administers medications safely using advanced technology.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans accordingly.

- Continuously updates skills and knowledge to meet professional standards.
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey RN license.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within three years.
- One to two years of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
- Experience in same-day surgery or OR preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
