Youth Recovery Center (YRC) is a unique, in-hospital residential treatment center that helps adolescents ages 15-18 work through addiction recovery and address mental health needs. About the role
Multiple positions and shifts are available. Shifts consist of three 12-hour shifts per week, with both day and night positions open. All positions require rotating weekends.
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm–11:30pm.
- $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm–7:30am.
- $4.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Monday.
Responsibilities
- Assess level of risk and make appropriate clinical judgments for resolution of client emergencies resulting in a safe outcome.
- Participate in recreation activities with clients.
- Gain skills in substance abuse, mental health, and adolescent health.
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain one.
- BSN preferred.
- 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse required.
- Minimum of 1 year RN work experience, preferably in Acute Care, Psychiatric, or Addiction.
Pay
- ADN: $36.76 – $54.06/hour
- BSN: $37.50 – $56.23/hour
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, RN-BSN, and RN-MSN.
