Registered Nurse (RN) Youth Recovery Center Part-Time NIGHTS
About the Role
The Youth Recovery Center (YRC) is a unique, in-hospital residential treatment center that helps adolescents ages 15-18 work through addiction recovery and address mental health needs. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) with a special interest in the adolescent population to join our team on a part-time, night shift basis.
Shifts consist of 2 twelve-hour night shifts per week with rotating weekends.
Pay
Hourly rates:
- $36.76 - $54.06/hour (ADN)
- $37.50 - $56.23/hour (BSN)
Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience. Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, RN-BSN, and RN-MSN.
Shift differentials:
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential (minimum 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm)
- $4.00/hour night shift differential (minimum 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm-7:30am)
- $4.25/hour weekend differential (5 or more continuous hours between 7pm Friday and 7am Monday)

Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain one
- BSN preferred
- 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse required
- Minimum of 1 year RN work experience, preferably in Acute Care, Psychiatric, or Addiction
Skills
- Assesses level of risk and makes appropriate clinical judgment for resolution of client emergencies resulting in a safe outcome
- Able and willing to participate in recreation activities with clients
- Willing to gain skills in substance abuse, mental health, and adolescent health
