Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN)

The Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN) is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for providing expert care to patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs

• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding wound care, ostomy management, and continence issues
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Participate in ongoing education and training related to wound, ostomy, and continence care

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Nursing
• Active RN License in Virginia or a compact state
• 3 years of RN experience required

• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
