Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care

About the role

Provide specialized wound care as a registered nurse, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered treatment, evaluation, and education.

Responsibilities

• Document patient data and maintain accurate records
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
• Apply nursing principles and adhere to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Coordinate resources and respond to changes in patient condition
• Ensure medication safety and follow regulatory standards (e.g., JCAHO, UHMS)
• Promote teamwork, critical thinking, and efficient workload management
• Mentor peers and support a positive work culture
• Deliver high-quality, safe, and compliant wound care

Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Wound Care Certification
• 3–5 years of relevant experience (preferred)
