Registered Nurse (RN) Women's Services PRN

A Women's Services RN at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg is part of a team dedicated to making communities healthier. You'll provide direct patient care, collaborate with other healthcare providers, and ensure the well-being of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Administers medications, collects specimens, performs clinical treatments, and educates patients and families.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient care and communicates with the care team, physicians, and patients.
• Assists patients with daily living activities and coordinates care with other healthcare professionals.
• Evaluates patient learning needs and provides appropriate education.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Requirements

• Current Tennessee or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 9 months of hire.

Qualifications

• One-year previous experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay

The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule is variable, with 2x12 hour shifts per pay period and 1 weekend shift per month, plus 1 minor and major holiday per year.
