Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Emergency Department

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department, responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key duties

• Performing comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.
• Providing relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and involving families and significant others in the care process.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams through effective communication, documentation, and participation in performance improvement efforts.
• Serving as a preceptor/mentor, promoting professional development, and supporting research and performance initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, organizational policies, and clinical competencies.

Qualifications and skills

• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor’s preferred.
• Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and necessary certifications (BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS).
• Minimum 5 years RN experience, with strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Ability to utilize technology effectively and respond decisively to emergencies.
