Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through effective communication and documentation, supporting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Lead and participate in performance improvement initiatives, support evidence-based research, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, including patient safety goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors preferred
- Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
- Required certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC or ATCN, ACLS
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in emergencies and utilize technology efficiently
