About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in Staten Island, NY to oversee daily operations of a nursing unit.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and ensure quality care standards
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Mentor less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance
- Review resident records and monitor overall care
- Address resident and family questions or concerns
- Represent the unit to upper management
Qualifications
- Valid State RN License
- Preferred 3 years of Long Term Care experience
- Preferred 2 years of Charge Nurse experience
- Strong computer and communication skills
