About the role
Supervise a nursing unit, ensure high standards of care, and manage staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all supervisory activities for the assigned unit
- Develop and enforce employee policies and procedures
- Mentor and support less experienced nurses
- Maintain care standards and review resident records and cases
- Address questions and concerns from residents and families
- Represent the unit to upper management
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid State RN License
- Experience in Long Term Care and Charge Nursing preferred
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Leadership and mentorship abilities
