Must possess valid unencumbered RN state license
BSN preferred
Two (2) years of experience preferred as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility
Must have, as a minimum of six (6) months experience in rehab and restorative nursing practices
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
Successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen

Supervises nursing care provided by nursing assistants, licensed vocational/practical nurses and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible
Carrries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws
Interviews, recommends hires and trains employees
Plans, assigns and directs work
PCC, Point Click Care knowledge
Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems relative to the unit(s)
Promotes and protects resident's rights; assists residents to make informed decisions; treats Residents with dignity and respect
