Overview
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator (UC) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Department/Position Overview
The ICU at Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital is a 24-bed general ICU that also services trauma, neurosurgical/ neurological, CRRT, and cardiac patients. The RN will be scheduled for onboarding classes such as EVD, rapid infuser, pacemaker, Swan Ganz, and Balloon Pump/ Impella. In addition to fellow staff, the RN will receive incredible support from the unit Nurse Development Specialist, Unit Coordinators, RN Supervisor, and RN Manager. The unit has a active Partnership council and is currently involved with the hospital Magnet journey.
Education
Required: Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN
Certification/Licensure
Required: Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing, Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN
Experience
Required: 18-months of RN experience
