Registered Nurse (RN) - Transitional Surgical Unit - Day/Midnights
Job Summary
ChristianaCare's Christiana and Wilmington hospitals have received their third Magnet® designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The Transitional Surgical Unit operates a 18-bed unit serving patients with a multidisciplinary approach, including neurosurgical, general surgical, and adult/pediatric trauma patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire
- Minimum 1-2 years stepdown experience; critical care experience strongly preferred
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
Hours
This position involves a Day/Midnight rotating schedule of 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m., with weekend and holiday schedules per departmental and organizational practices.
Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $41.28 - $66.05. The actual salary offered will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
