NaphCare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of medical professionals in Torrington, WY, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for individuals incarcerated in the Wyoming Department of Corrections - Medium Correctional Facility. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available. All hires (FT, PT, and PRN) receive an additional $2.00 per hour pay incentive on top of their base pay rate. Mileage reimbursement is also available for those who qualify and meet the mileage requirement.
About the role
As a Correctional Registered Nurse (RN), you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to individuals in residence. This role operates within a controlled environment where security is a top priority. Your duties will include performing physical assessments, administering medications, managing chronic illnesses, and responding to emergencies. This is a unique position where you can make a difference for a diverse population of patients with complex medical needs. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current and maintained licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
