Registered Nurse RN (Thursday, Saturday, Sunday)

About the role

Cooney Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their long-term care unit. The facility is dedicated to providing high-quality services and values the contributions of its RNs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluate changes in condition to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards
• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted by state practice), tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures
• Supervise, delegate, and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts
• Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care
• Accurately complete all required documentation, assessments, and clinical records in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by Montana required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
