Registered Nurse, (RN) - Surgery

About the role

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse, RN to join our team in the Surgery Department. This position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working in a variety of specialties including orthopedic, sports medicine, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, podiatry, spine procedures, DaVinci robotic cases, and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This position is available on a Full-Time Day schedule.
