Registered Nurse, (RN) - Surgery

About the role

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Day Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Surgery Department. This position is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare network.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Level II or higher ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred

Qualifications

• Current state RN license
