About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team at the Westchester Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Mount Vernon, New York. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while providing leadership and guidance to the nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on the evening shift, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, monitoring their condition and reporting changes to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care.
• Provide education and guidance to nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current New York State RN license.
• Current work authorization.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to assess patients' needs and develop effective care plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Schedule

Full-time, evening shift (4PM–12AM) with alternate weekends.
