Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor - Emergency Department

About the role

The Steele Creek Emergency Department features a well-designed layout to support efficient, high-quality patient care, including 12 major medical beds with both an adult-specific resuscitation room and a dedicated pediatric resuscitation room. In addition, the unit offers 8 rapid medical evaluation/minor care beds to support lower-acuity patients, along with 4 triage bays to facilitate timely patient assessment and flow.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience
• This position is not for new graduates
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• 1-year minimum ED experience required
• Leadership experience preferred
