Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor 3-11/11-7

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor the delivery of nursing care to ensure it meets standards of quality, safety, and resident dignity.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions and address concerns promptly.
• Cook up and coordinate implementation of resident care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care and documentation.
• Serve as a leader, mentor, and resource for nurses, CNAs, and other care team members.

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Virginia.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Minimum [2–3] years of nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric setting.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations, infection control, and care planning.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Physical And Sensory Requirements

• Moderate physical activity: Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet.
• Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Bending and/or stooping for more than one (1) hour at a time.
• Sitting for more than one (1) hour at a time.
• Requires writing and/or computer work with repetitive typing and concentrating on computer screen and/or documents for more than one (1) hour at a time.
