11-7 RN Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to the Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing recommendations.
• Participates in clinical leadership, working with the DON and Unit Manager to plan, organize, direct, and implement a comprehensive nursing program.
• Provides nursing leadership to align with organizational and center goals.
• Ensures timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNAs, and professional medical staff.
• Initiates and actively participates in interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
• Evaluates and addresses all triggered indicators in the care plan.
• Collaborates with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to gather information on residents' status and progress towards care plan goals.
• Communicates effectively with a variety of other disciplines.
• Prepares accurate reports of Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI).
• Trends and analyzes this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team and improve the quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.
• Develops and implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for both oneself and others.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in a healthcare setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in supervisory roles within a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
