Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Supervise nurses and aides in the Long Term Care facility
- Work with the Director of Nurses to implement recommended changes and improvements
- Monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing
- Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report
- Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/incident reports, physician's orders, and treatment records
- Liaise between nursing staff and attending physicians to ensure efficient communication
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license

- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends
