Registered Nurse (RN) - Spine & Pain, PRN

Position Details

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Spine & Pain Management (PRN) position is available at Mercy Clinic Southfork, located at 10050 Kennerly Road, Suite 2400, St. Louis, MO 63128.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess patients, including pain evaluations, vitals, and medical history
• Auxiliary providers with spine and pain management procedures and treatments
• Administer medications and injections; support IV therapy as needed
• Maintain patients and respond to changes in condition
• Coordinate care, including follow-ups, referrals, and patient education
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Support a safe, efficient clinic environment and assist with lab/testing as needed

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge of the principles and skills needed for nursing, care, examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures
• Knowledge of medications and their effects, patient education, principles to develop a self-care program, instruments and common safety practices
• Current valid state license
• CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment
