Registered Nurse Pain PRN

About the role

We’re looking for a PRN Registered Nurse at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Community Hospital South to join our dedicated team. You’ll be working alongside a compassionate group of healthcare professionals who value compassion, attitude, respect, excellence, and service.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Hospital.
• Collaborates with the patient, the patient’s family, and other members of the health care team to manage patient care.
• Assists the physician with patient-related care activities.
• Maintains knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes during surgery, and anticipated complications.
• Carefully coordinates patient care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Protects and advances the patient's best interest.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma.
• One year experience in acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• AHA BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire, if not currently certified.
• AHA ACLS required within 120 days of hire, if not currently certified.
