Overview
Sentara Health is hiring for an Experienced RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Same Day Surgery Unit. Generous Sign On Bonus up to $15K for Qualified Candidates!
Hours/Shift
Full-time, 36 hours per week, Days. Hours of operation: 5:00am - 7:30pm. 8 or 9-hour shifts, no weekends/holidays. Limited call discussed at time of interview.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years acute or critical care experience highly preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced unit
- Valid RN license in good standing
- ADN required, BSN or higher preferred
Department/Position Overview
We are currently seeking nurses with a minimum of 2 years acute or critical care experience for our 20-bed Same Day Surgery Unit.
Responsibilities
- Assessing/admitting patients
- Rounding checks
- Giving medications
- Talking with family members
- Responsible for the overall care of patients
