About the Role

This role provides direct clinical patient care. You will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. The role includes supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. You will be accountable for supporting the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

You will serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing, demonstrating effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients.
• Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and delivered.
• Support the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
• Manage resources effectively related to patient care.
• Serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Requirements

• Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law or regulation in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing.
• Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).

Pay

$34.37 - $70.88 per hour. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
